Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for precision grinding taps to ensure optimal performance and longevity. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where quality and attention to detail are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate grinding machines to sharpen and finish taps according to specifications
- Inspect and measure finished taps to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances
- Maintain and calibrate grinding equipment regularly to ensure accuracy
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Record production data and report any machine malfunctions or quality issues
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output targets
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be 18 or older
- High school diploma, or equivalent required
- Experience in grinding, precision or metal fabrication preferred. At least 1 year in manufacturing is required.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, such as fixing machinery to changing tooling and dies.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail is a must.
