Senior Accountant – Real Estate & Property | 4 MONTH CONTRACT | West Omaha, NE | Onsite | $43–$48/hour
A growing real estate management organization is seeking an experienced Accountant to support operational and property-level accounting across multiple entities. Work alongside the Controller, in this high-ownership role within a collaborative, team-focused environment where accuracy and initiative are highly valued.

Key responsibilities
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes across multiple properties
• Prepare monthly property financial packages including income statements and balance sheets
• Review tenant receivables, monitor aging, and coordinate on collections
• Support property-level cash management and operating account activity
• Perform monthly bank, loan, and account reconciliations
• Prepare and review journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Assist with CAM and NNN reconciliations and tenant billbacks
• Generate and analyze financial reports and variance explanations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Prepare monthly property financial packages including income statements and balance sheets

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Real estate or property accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience working in accounting systems
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
