A long-standing Midwest organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team. This role provides the opportunity to work across multiple areas of accounting including financial reporting, payroll processing, and general ledger management. What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Assist with monthly financial statement preparation and review
- Process payroll, payroll tax deposits, and related compliance filings
- Prepare quarterly and annual payroll forms including W-2s and 1099s
- Maintain accurate financial records and support ongoing accounting operations
What They’re Looking For
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience
- 1+ year of payroll processing experience
- Experience with general ledger entries and reconciliations
- QuickBooks experience preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
