Job Description
As a Sales Tax Specialist, you should be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting, Knowing and learning how to understand state tax laws and solving account discrepancies are key parts of the job. Strong communication skills and experience with Excel will help in staying on top of deadlines and working with different teams.
Responsibilities:
- Review customer invoices and apply the right tax exemptions.
- Assist customers and coworkers by answering tax-related questions.
- Review tax rules for different states to make sure exemptions are correct.
- Review tax records each month and fix any mistakes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 2+ years working in a face paced environment & comfortable meeting deadlines
- Proficiency with Excel
- Excellent communication skills, bilingual a plus
- Sales Tax and/or Sales Tax return experience highly preferred

The base salary range for this position is $41,000–$46,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
