Job Description
The Reserves Network is seeking an experienced Roll Operator to set up, adjust, and operate plate and angle rolls. In this role, you will use manual and CNC plate rolls to form a variety of metal plates and structural shapes into rolled parts and cylinders while working from blueprints, drawings, patterns, templates, and written specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, adjust, and operate plate and angle rolls to form a wide variety of plates and structural metals.
- Operate manual and CNC plate rolls to produce rolled parts and cylinders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, patterns, templates, and written specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and confirm parts meet specifications.
- Perform tack welding as required.
- Coordinate with other shop departments to support production needs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience rolling metal materials.
- Ability to read blueprints and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Experience using tape measures, steel rules, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, protractors, and similar measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of various metals and structural shapes.
- Ability to lift 50–60 pounds.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with other areas of the shop.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional education in a technical field preferred.

The pay range for this position is $25.00. Final compensation will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
