Job Summary:
A large educational institution is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist for a short-term contract for their Compton Head Start program in the Houston Tx area. This position will support the administrative staff with various tasks while assisting and navigation of various projects.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain various records and documents for the Head Start program.
- Provide administrative support to the various departments in completing their projects
- Answer busy phones, assist callers and parents
- Handle all walk-In applicants with various questions and procedures for the programs
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clerical setting and juggle multiple projects
- Must have excellent organizational and sense of urgency
- Must have good public relation skills

The base pay range for this position is $16.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
