Job Description
As a Quality Technician, you will support daily manufacturing operations by performing inspections, maintaining calibration standards, and ensuring compliance with quality management processes. This role is essential to maintaining product quality, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring manufacturing processes meet customer and ISO standards.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect machined and welded products to engineering specifications and quality standards
- Perform First Article Inspections, capability studies, and Gage R&R evaluations
- Create and maintain inspection records, quality documentation, and KPI reporting
- Calibrate and maintain precision measuring equipment used in production
- Support ISO compliance, audits, corrective actions, and Lean/5S initiatives
- Develop and update inspection workflows, process documentation, and product change records
- Collaborate with Engineering, vendors, and internal teams to resolve quality concerns and support new product development
- Support cross-training, continuous improvement, and overall Quality Department operations
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience in a Quality Technician or Quality Lead role
- Previous experience performing weldment inspections required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for charting and reporting purposes
- Experience with calibration techniques preferred
- ISO and MRP/ERP system experience preferred
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience maintaining measurement tools and equipment
- Proficient using inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, profilometers, gauge blocks, Go/No-Go gauges, radius gauges, telescopic gauges, and taper gauges

The base pay range for this position is $25-35/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
