Job Description
The Production Quality Technician is responsible for supporting product and process quality control within a production environment. This role monitors daily production activity, performs in-process inspections, documents quality findings, and helps ensure compliance with internal, customer, regulatory, and IATF16949 quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable using handheld gauges while working with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor production operations to confirm compliance with defined processes, product requirements, and quality standards.
- Perform in-process quality inspections using small handheld gauges and document results accurately.
- Provide daily written reports to the Quality Manager regarding production activity, inspection results, and quality concerns.
- Ensure proper product identification, traceability, documentation, and follow-up on quality-related findings.
- Maintain safe work practices, good housekeeping, and compliance with company safety, personnel, ISO/IATF16949, and quality policies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in a quality technician, quality inspection, production quality, or related manufacturing role.
- Proficiency using small handheld gauges and inspection tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise directions and complete accurate documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, use sound judgment, communicate clearly, and work with minimal supervision.
- Preferred experience or knowledge of plastics, extrusion, injection molding, or blow molding operations.

The base pay range for this position is$16.50, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
