Job Description:
Join a growing technology organization as a Quality Assurance Team Lead, where you will play a critical role in driving software quality, mentoring QA professionals, and supporting the delivery of secure, reliable, and high-performing applications. This role combines people leadership with hands-on quality assurance responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys coaching team members while remaining actively involved in testing strategy, sprint execution, automation oversight, and process improvement. You'll collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and QA leadership to strengthen quality practices and help build a high-performing QA culture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA professionals while fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Conduct interviews, support hiring decisions, onboard new team members, and create development plans for continued growth.
- Facilitate regular one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
- Guide team participation in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, retrospectives, and release activities.
- Provide visibility into team capacity, workload planning, and delivery commitments.
- Remove roadblocks and support sprint execution to ensure successful delivery of quality software solutions.
- Own and participate in regression testing efforts for assigned application areas.
- Review automated test code and pull requests to ensure quality, maintainability, scalability, and adherence to standards.
- Partner with QA leadership to improve testing processes, automation practices, tools, and quality standards.
- Ensure testing activities align with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Research and recommend new testing tools, technologies, and approaches that improve efficiency and coverage.
- Maintain and enhance documentation related to testing processes, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or equivalent industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience performing system, regression, integration, compatibility, performance, and user acceptance testing within Agile environments.
- 2+ years of people leadership experience.
- 3+ years of automated testing experience utilizing tools such as Playwright, SpecFlow, or Reqnroll.
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C# or Java.
- Experience leading automation initiatives and supporting QA process maturity.
- Strong experience working with SQL, NoSQL, and data validation techniques.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by influence while maintaining a hands-on approach to quality assurance.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $120,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
