Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician / Inspector to perform inspections and tests on products to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications. This role supports production quality through dimensional inspections, certifications, calibration programs, and defect control. Candidates will also assist with first-piece and final inspections while maintaining accurate quality records. This is a hands-on opportunity in a manufacturing environment with growth potential.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and tests of products to verify conformance to specifications
- Maintain inspection records, retained samples, and customer PPAP documentation
- Conduct first-piece and final inspections as needed
- Quarantine and disposition defective materials
- Maintain tools, calibration programs, and clean work areas
- Follow ISO, quality, safety, and environmental procedures
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5–7 years of quality control or inspection experience preferred
- Manufacturing or automotive industry experience preferred
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, hardness testers, and inspection tools
- Basic computer skills and ERP system knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
