Job Description
A growing real estate firm is seeking a Project Accounting Administrator to manage the administrative, cash flow, and coordination functions across active developments and construction projects. This role serves as the central point of coordination between executive leadership, construction, development, accounting, lenders, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate tracking of budgets, funding sources, lender draws, incentives, and payments. This is a high-visibility, execution-focused position in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where organization, accountability, and follow-through are critical to project success.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Monitor development and construction project budgets, lender draws, loan balances, and available cash
- Assist in preparing and maintaining annual budgets for development projects
- Prepare, assemble, and submit lender draw packages
- Track construction loan proceeds and capitalized interest
- Manage and reconcile development and construction-related bank accounts
- Maintain outstanding payable schedules and process invoice payments as directed
- Track, wire, and record earnest money deposits
- Track, manage, and record owner capital contributions and cash calls
- Track and manage development-phase incentive programs through turnover to operations
- Serve as the coordination point between Development, Construction, Accounting, and lenders
What They’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in real estate development, construction administration, or project accounting preferred
- Experience preparing construction lender draws and managing project cash flow
- Strong understanding of budgets, funding sources, and loan tracking
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, AppFolio, and advanced Excel
- Highly organized with strong communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
