Job Description
The Production Quality Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining and advancing product and process quality standards across the organization. This role supports the quality assurance group through hands-on inspection, testing, document control, calibration, and reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong automotive manufacturing quality experience, solid computer proficiency, and practical knowledge of metrology and measurement equipment. This position operates in compliance with ISO/IATF 16949 quality management system requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct incoming, in-process, shipping, and product quality inspections using visual, mechanical, and chemical testing methods.
- Perform process, product, and system audits to ensure compliance with internal, regulatory, customer, and ISO/IATF 16949 requirements.
- Manage calibration and verification activities for measurement and test equipment, including logging, tracking, and maintaining devices.
- Maintain document control processes for customer requirements, specifications, test methods, audit findings, and quality records.
- Identify non-conformances, recommend quality improvements, and support administrative tasks, data collection, analysis, and records management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate degree required; coursework or certification in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Direct automotive industry quality experience is strongly required; candidates without automotive quality background will not be considered.
- Working knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949 quality management system requirements.
- Hands-on metrology experience in a Quality Lab setting, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM, and above-average Microsoft Office skills.

The base pay range for this position is 26.50 – 29.50, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
