Job Description
We are seeking an experienced manufacturing professional to join a growing manufacturing company in the Mentor area as a Press Brake Operator. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering extensive hands-on training, a consistent first-shift schedule, and room to continue developing your skills and growing within the organization.
As a Press Brake Operator, you will operate press brake equipment to bend, shape, and cut various metal materials according to production requirements.
Responsibilities
• Operate press brake machinery to bend, shape, and cut metal materials
• Set up and operate equipment according to production requirements
• Handle and position metal materials throughout the production process
• Follow work instructions and established quality standards
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
• Follow all required safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Participate in the company’s comprehensive training and onboarding program
Qualifications and Requirements
• Previous manufacturing experience required
• Previous press brake, metal fabrication, or related machine operation experience is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift
• Ability to wear required steel-toe footwear and safety glasses
• Dependable attendance and strong attention to quality
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings
