Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Plasma Burner with Beveling experience to operate CNC plasma equipment for precision cutting and beveling of steel plates. This position requires the ability to set up and program CNC machinery, read blueprints and work orders, and use precision measurement tools to ensure finished parts meet specifications. The role also supports material handling and warehouse operations in a fast-paced steel processing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Operate the Kinetic 2500 CNC plasma machine for precision cutting and beveling
• Set up and program equipment while maintaining safe and productive machine operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
• Inspect finished parts using gauges, calipers, tape measures, squares, and other precision measurement tools
• Load, unload, and stage heavy steel materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, adjustments, and consumable tracking
• Set up and program equipment while maintaining safe and productive machine operations

Qualifications and Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum two (2) years of CNC plasma cutting experience with beveling in a steel or metal fabrication environment
• Experience with CNC machinery or heavy-duty industrial equipment; Kinetic 2500 experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with common steel grades such as A36, A572, and A516
• Forklift and/or overhead crane certification preferred
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools including tape measures, calipers, squares, and gauges
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and perform extended periods of standing, climbing, and other physical warehouse activities
• Minimum two (2) years of CNC plasma cutting experience with beveling in a steel or metal fabrication environment

The base pay range for this position is $47,299 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
