A well- respected organization in the Omaha metro area is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join its HR & Payroll team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking for a collaborative, mission-driven environment with long-term career potential. The role is primarily responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll while supporting benefits administration and HR operations. The organization is open to both full-time and part-time candidates and offers the opportunity to convert to a permanent position with an outstanding benefits package after 4 months.

Key Responsibilities
- Process accurate bi-weekly payroll for hourly employees
- Reconcile payroll data and ensure compliance with payroll procedures
- Assist with benefits administration, invoice reconciliation, and vendor coordination
- Support HRIS maintenance and employee payroll and benefit inquiries
- Coordinate payroll-related reporting and maintain accurate employee records
- Partner with HR and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Experience processing bi-weekly payroll in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to benefits administration or HR support functions preferred
- Proficiency with payroll systems/ multiple HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
