About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Bindery Helper to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining production flow by handling paper products, moving pallets, monitoring machine output, and preparing finished materials for shipment or storage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Sheeter Operators with daily production activities.
- Move pallets of paper throughout the facility using a powered pallet jack.
- Monitor output from the sheeter to ensure smooth production flow.
- Wrap and label finished pallets according to company standards.
- Transport completed pallets to designated areas within the plant.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
- Experience operating a powered pallet jack.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Ability to move and maneuver large, heavy pallets of paper.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
