Job Description
A well-established Chardon manufacturing company is seeking a dependable Material Handler / Manufacturing Utility Worker to support its second-shift operations. This hands-on position includes moving materials with a tow motor and overhead crane, operating guarded saws, and assisting with general labor and stamping activities. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tow motors and overhead cranes to move, load, unload, and stage materials
- Operate guarded saws and assist with material preparation
- Support stamping operations and other general manufacturing duties
- Maintain accurate material movement records and assist with inventory counts
- Inspect work and report material or quality discrepancies
- Work with production and warehouse teams to maintain efficient material flow
- Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and organized
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience operating tow motors and overhead cranes
- Manufacturing, material handling, or related shop-floor experience preferred
- Ability to work safely around guarded saws and stamping equipment; training provided as appropriate
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and consistent attendance
- Engaged, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role
- Must be able to complete required pre-employment testing
