Job Description
As a Material Handler/Forklift Operator, you will operate a sit-down forklift, always prioritizing safety. Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and quality of picked orders, verifying quantities, and inspecting products for damage or defects. Collaborate effectively with other warehouse team members and supervisors to maintain a smooth workflow and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Assure the work cells are properly stocked with raw materials to ensure continuous production in all work cells.
- Receive and check-in of raw materials, purchase stock and finished items, equipment, supplies, and returned goods.
- Check received goods to purchase orders or receiving slips as to identification, type, part number, dimension, size, weight, and general quality.
- Inspect goods received for damage from handling and transit.
- Deliver materials to storage or manufacturing areas.
- Be responsible for keeping the receiving docks and aisles clean of materials as received so as not to impede the further arrival of materials.
- Drive and unload box truck (if/as needed).
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Shipping and Receiving experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3 years of forklift driving experience
- Basic Computer Skills
- Ability to understand/communicate basic English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

The base salary range for this position is $18, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note that hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
