Job Description:
An established industrial employer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician – Electrical/Journeyman to maintain and repair facility and production equipment. In this role, you will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to equipment breakdowns to help minimize downtime. The ideal candidate has strong industrial electrical knowledge, mechanical troubleshooting skills, and experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment. A Journeyman Electrician license is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and production equipment issues
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and building systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and complete repairs efficiently to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance records while following established safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Journeyman Electrician license preferred or currently working toward licensure
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including motors, controls, and wiring
- PLC troubleshooting knowledge is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to urgent maintenance needs
- Ability to follow workplace safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check

The base pay range for this position is $35 an hr, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
