Job Description
An automotive fastener manufacturing company in Medina, Ohio, is seeking a Machine Operator to work as a Machine Tender in its Cold Forming Department. In this role, you will monitor production equipment, load materials, inspect finished fasteners, and assist with basic machine adjustments. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity offering steady first-shift hours and long-term growth potential.
Responsibilities:
· Monitor cold-forming machines to ensure proper operation and consistent production
· Load raw materials and remove completed fasteners from production equipment
· Inspect finished parts for defects, measurements, and quality standards
· Perform basic machine adjustments, clear minor jams, and report mechanical issues
· Maintain accurate production records and keep the work area clean and organized

Qualifications and Requirements:
· Previous machine operating, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
· Ability to use basic measuring tools and complete routine quality inspections
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions
· Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety

The base salary range for this position is approximately $37,440 annually, excluding overtime, benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
