Job Description
The Machine Operator (Laser) is responsible for operating production machinery to manufacture parts that meet precise specifications and quality standards. This role includes reviewing work orders, setting up equipment, and performing inspections throughout the production process. The operator will also conduct routine maintenance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency and product quality. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Operate laser and other production machines to meet required specifications and tolerances
- Perform in-process inspections and report quality issues to the Supervisor
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 5S standards
- Communicate effectively with production, quality, and management teams
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience performing machining operations to specification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

The base pay range for this position is $39,520–$43,680 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
