Job Description
A well-established manufacturing company in Gastonia, NC, is seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join its first-shift production team. In this role, you will operate production equipment, assist with product assembly, inspect finished materials, and prepare products for shipment. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, follows safety procedures, and works well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery and equipment according to established work instructions
- Assemble, inspect, and package finished products to meet quality standards
- Perform visual quality inspections and report defects or production issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow company safety procedures and meet daily production requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively with a team
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
