Job Description
We are seeking a Machine Operator for a manufacturing opportunity in Mt. Holly, NC. In this role, you will set up and operate production equipment according to machine specifications and written or verbal instructions. You will inspect finished products, document findings, and support safety, quality, and production goals. Attention to detail and the ability to recognize and report equipment or product issues are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate production equipment according to machine and product specifications.
- Follow written and verbal instructions to meet production, quality, and safety standards.
- Inspect products during production cycles and document findings as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area; wear required PPE, including steel-toe shoes and earplugs; report discrepancies, malfunctions, and injuries.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED, one year of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination.
- Ability to read and write simple instructions and correspondence in English and communicate effectively.
- Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals; ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Manual dexterity, practical problem-solving skills, and ability to follow written or oral directions.
