Job Description
An established manufacturing company in North Ridgeville, OH, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Machine Cleaner for its 2nd shift team. This hands-on role focuses on thoroughly cleaning and maintaining production machinery to support safe and efficient operations. You will also inspect equipment for potential issues, perform basic servicing, and assist maintenance technicians with minor maintenance tasks. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined and has previous industrial maintenance or machine-cleaning experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed cleaning and sanitizing of industrial production machinery, removing grease, dust, debris, and production buildup
- Inspect equipment during cleaning and report wear, damage, leaks, or other maintenance concerns
- Perform basic servicing and minor maintenance tasks and assist maintenance technicians with minor repairs as needed
- Support general facility maintenance involving lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems as assigned
- Safely use cleaning supplies, hand tools, and maintenance equipment while following required safety and PPE procedures
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous industrial maintenance or industrial machine-cleaning experience required
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable performing detailed, hands-on cleaning around production machinery throughout the shift
- Manual dexterity to safely operate cleaning equipment, tools, and machinery
- Ability to recognize basic equipment and maintenance concerns
- Basic math skills and ability to perform simple calculations
- Must be flexible with scheduling and available for mandatory overtime
- Must be available to complete training on 1st shift

The base pay rate for this position is $18.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
