An established insurance and financial services organization is seeking an Investment Accounting Manager to lead an experienced team responsible for investment accounting, reporting, controls, and analysis. This role is ideal for someone with strong insurance investment accounting experience who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and partnering across the business.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop investment accounting professionals
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end investment accounting
- Ensure compliance with SAP, U.S. GAAP, and regulatory requirements
- Review accounting for fixed income, mortgage loans, partnerships, derivatives, and other investments
- Partner with Finance, Treasury, Investment Management, Actuarial, and auditors
- Support audits, regulatory reporting, and complex accounting research
- Drive process improvement, automation, and stronger controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- CPA required
- Strong insurance accounting and investment accounting background
- Knowledge of statutory accounting/SAP and U.S. GAAP
- Leadership or strong mentoring experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills
