Job Description
A growing EPC and construction firm is seeking a Construction Estimator to join its estimating and project development team. This role focuses on preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for industrial, oil and gas, and infrastructure projects. You’ll evaluate drawings, specifications, and bid documents to identify risk and opportunity areas and collaborate with internal departments and vendors to produce accurate, competitive proposals. This is an excellent fit for a self-motivated professional who enjoys analytical work, teamwork, and contributing to major field-driven projects.
Responsibilities
– Prepare detailed construction estimates, budgets, and proposals for EPC and fabrication projects
– Analyze construction documents and specifications to evaluate project scope and risk
– Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to develop accurate cost models
– Identify and qualify subcontractors and vendors for pricing and proposal support
– Support project transition from estimating to engineering and construction teams
Qualifications and Requirements
– 5+ years of experience in construction estimating or project management
– Familiarity with EPC, industrial, or heavy construction environments
– Proficiency with project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project preferred
– Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
– Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities
