Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Construction Estimator to lead the development of accurate project budgets, estimates, and proposals for industrial construction and fabrication projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can evaluate project plans, assess risks, and collaborate with teams to ensure cost-effective execution.
Responsibilities
- Analyze construction documents, drawings, and specifications to create precise cost estimates.
- Identify potential risks, opportunities, and cost variables, providing strategic insights to management.
- Perform quantity take-offs and develop comprehensive estimates for industrial projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to gather cost data and support proposal development.
- Present estimates and proposals to leadership, stakeholders, and clients with confidence and clarity.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in estimating or project management within industrial construction.
- Strong understanding of pumps, pipes, and valves, with the ability to conceptualize projects without full drawings.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with scheduling tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is a plus.
