Job Description
- Join a leading automotive machining manufacturer as a Human Resources Manager. In this role, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for all human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, training, compliance, and performance management. This position serves as a key liaison between employees and management while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with experience driving HR initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, and policy development
- Manage performance evaluations, coaching, disciplinary actions, and employee development initiatives
- Develop and administer departmental budgets, business plans, training schedules, and HR programs
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, EEO reporting requirements, company policies, and workplace safety standards
- Partner with leadership to address staffing needs, workforce planning, compensation strategies, and organizational development
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of management experience in Human Resources
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, compensation, benefits, labor laws, and HR compliance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Industry certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR are preferred
