Job Description
We are seeking an HR Onboarding Coordinator for a long-term contract assignment. This role will serve as the first point of contact for callers into the HR Department and assist with all onboarding paperwork for internal employees.
Responsibilities
- Manages the onboarding of new hires, including (but not limited to): credential verifications, background checks, references, and pre-hire drug & occupational health screens
- Prepares, reviews, and distributes offer letters, job descriptions, and other documentation related to personnel management
- Overseas and troubleshoots issues with all associated HRIS systems for candidates and hiring managers, as needed, and manual processes that may need tracking
- Follow-up on newly hired employees and hiring managers when paperwork is missing or incomplete
- Maintains frequent correspondence with candidates, to prepare for their hire, acts as a point of contact for support of the new hire during and after the onboarding process
- Attends staff meetings and participates as part of the recruitment team
- Works to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Healthcare background preferred
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, to be able to succeed in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and productively, without supervision
- Excellent customer service, business writing, and communication skills

The base pay range for this position is $23.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
