Job Description
An established furniture assembly operation in Mebane, NC is seeking a General Laborer to support daily production and assembly activities. This hands-on position involves assembling furniture components, handling materials, and assisting with general production tasks. Candidates with forklift driving or machine operation experience are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble components according to work instructions
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the production area
- Assist with machine operation and other production tasks as assigned
- Operate a forklift when needed and qualified
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous general labor, manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred
- Forklift driving experience preferred
- Machine operation or machining experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures
- Ability to work the required Monday–Friday schedule, including varying Friday hours
