Job Description
A well-established manufacturing company in Mebane, NC is seeking a Forklift Operator / Material Handler to support its production and warehouse operations. In this role, you will safely operate a forklift, move and stage materials, and ensure production areas have the supplies needed to maintain an efficient workflow. You will also assist with inventory movement, documentation, and the handling of materials used in the production of custom cabinetry. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who values safety, quality, and long-term career growth.
Responsibilities:
· Operate forklifts and other approved material-handling equipment safely to transport materials throughout the facility
· Load, unload, move, stage, and organize raw materials, components, and finished products in designated areas
· Supply production and assembly areas with materials to help maintain an efficient manufacturing workflow
· Verify materials, quantities, and locations while completing required inventory and material-movement documentation
· Inspect materials and finished products for visible damage or quality concerns and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Previous material handling experience
· Forklift operating experience and ability to follow established equipment and workplace safety procedures
· Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
· Basic computer and documentation skills
· Knowledge of woodworking tools, materials, or techniques is advantageous, along with a strong commitment to learning and growth

The base pay range for this position is $17.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation.
