Job Description
An established manufacturing company is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to support its warehouse operations. In this role, you will operate a forklift, load and unload trucks, move materials, and maintain organized inventory. You will also assist with general warehouse tasks and cross-train in other functions as part of a small, team-oriented operation. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift and wrap machine safely while following established procedures.
- Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently.
- Store, retrieve, move, and organize materials within warehouse racking and production areas.
- Support general warehouse duties and cross-train in additional department functions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous forklift operating experience is required.
- Ability to regularly lift, move, and manipulate materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills needed to understand safety instructions and complete required documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow directions and manage multiple tasks.
- Dependable attendance, punctuality, and professional workplace behavior.
- Willingness to work required overtime and occasional Saturday shifts.
- Preferred: Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
