Job Description
- Operate a forklift safely to transport raw materials, finished products, and other materials throughout the manufacturing facility
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials in designated areas
- Supply production areas with necessary materials to maintain workflow
- Assist with moving finished products to appropriate storage or shipping areas
- Inspect forklift equipment before use and report any maintenance or safety concerns
- Follow all company safety procedures and material-handling guidelines
- Maintain accurate material movement and inventory records as required
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Work closely with production team members to meet daily manufacturing goals
Job Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience preferred
- Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and handle materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required by the position
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable attendance and ability to work the scheduled second shift
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
