Job Description
We are seeking a safety-focused Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for safely operating industrial forklifts, loading and unloading materials, transporting products throughout the facility, and maintaining organized storage and staging areas.
The ideal candidate will have previous industrial forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable team member seeking steady weekday hours and long-term growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, stack, and transport pallets and materials throughout the warehouse
- Move products to designated storage, staging, production, and shipping areas
- Verify materials and inspect loads for damage, defects, or discrepancies
- Assist with receiving, put-away, order staging, and outbound shipment preparation
- Maintain accurate inventory placement and organized storage areas
- Complete daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns promptly
- Follow all warehouse traffic rules, safety procedures, and equipment-operating guidelines
- Keep aisles, docks, and work areas clean and free of safety hazards
- Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous industrial or warehouse forklift experience required
- At least six months of manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication, dependability, and attention to detail
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of required background screening, drug screening, and physical assessment
