Job Description
As a Food and Nutrition Supervisor you will work with the hospital staff to meet dietary requirements and food needs for all patients and employees. You will play an important role in maintaining food service standards in the facility. You will also work with the dietary aides and cooks to create prompt service options.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Aides and Cooks for food for all patients following necessary dietary restrictions
- Create schedules and assign duties to all department staff members
- Maintain sanitary standards and work with vendors for adequate inventory
- Provide general maintenance of equipment and work inside guided budget
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5+ year of food management experience, bonus if in a medical care facility environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass drug screen, background check, and required health screenings
- Working with dietary needs and restrictions is a plus
