Job Description
Are you looking for a quick work opportunity and enjoy being around vehicles? We are seeking dependable Temporary Drivers to support an auto auction event in Greensboro, NC. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving, want flexible short-term work, and like the chance to be around a variety of vehicles.
As a Temporary Driver, you will help move, park, and stage vehicles safely throughout the auction site. This role requires attention to detail, safe driving habits, and the ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles to and from designated parking areas and auction lanes
- Park and stage vehicles safely and efficiently for the auction
- Operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles as needed
- Inspect vehicles for visible damage and report concerns to the Team Leader
- Follow all safety guidelines, traffic flow instructions, and site procedures
- Maintain awareness of surroundings while operating vehicles
- Assist with keeping auction traffic moving in an organized and timely manner
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required
- Clean driving record preferred
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual/stick shift vehicles required
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor or warehouse-style environment
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Strong hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
