Job Description
 
Contributor to shaping the future of food safety and quality within a leading organization.  Lead and manage food safety and quality across all aspects of food manufacturing. Ensure adherence to food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA) and industry standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, BRC, Halal, Organic Programs, and any programs affiliated with labeling or product claims). Develop, implement and maintain robust QA programs to uphold product quality and consistency. 
Conduct regular audit and inspections for identity areas from improvement and enhancement.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Food Safety and Quality across all aspects of food manufacturing
  • Adherence to food safety regulations and industry standards
  • Microbiological and Chemical laboratory oversight
  • Quality Assurance and Control
  • Process improvement & Project Management
  • Customer focus, customer relations and cross functional collaboration
  • QMS – digital Quality Management System experience
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, or a related field; preferred advanced degree
  • Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in technical leadership within the food industry – Ready to Eat – RTE experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (USDA, FDA) and quality management systems (HACCP, GMP, BRC, GFSI etc.)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience in project management, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and external stakeholders.
  • Office based role with frequent visits to production facilities and supplier visits, conferences, and regulatory inspections

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 – $150,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
