Business Development Manager | $140k | Remote | 50%+ Travel
What Matters Most:
  • Competitive base salary up to $140,000 with a 30% annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
  • Remote position serving a multi-state Western U.S. territory (including CA, WA, OR, NV, CO, UT, NM, and others).
  • Travel requirement of 50% or more; must reside near a major airport.

Job Description:
We are hiring a Business Development Manager to drive growth of aftermarket services across a critical Western U.S. region. This role will take the lead on expanding market presence, supporting channel partners, and building strong client relationships in the industrial sector. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, and an expert at balancing business development and account management.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead regional growth strategy and execution for aftermarket service offerings.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities using customer data and market trends.
  • Support and train direct and indirect sales teams to improve market coverage and client engagement.
  • Build strong customer relationships and negotiate long-term service agreements.
  • Resolve service issues and collaborate with internal teams to enhance client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering.
  • 5–10 years of experience in service sales, business development, or key account management.
  • Strong background in motors, drives, automation systems, or switchgear.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Microsoft 365, with a process-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.

In the spirit of pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is up to $140,000, not including bonuses or additional compensation. Final salary will depend on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Offers consider internal equity and room for future growth. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please note that the range mentioned above represents the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical, allowing for future and continued salary growth.
