Job Description
Step into the role of Customer Service Representative and help deliver a positive customer experience for a manufacturing organization in Huntersville, North Carolina. In this role, you will professionally manage incoming customer requests, assist with quotes and order processing, maintain accurate customer records, and follow issues through to full resolution. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, sense of urgency, and ability to collaborate across sales, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and warehouse teams will help ensure customers receive prompt, accurate, and dependable support.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare quotes and follow up with customers in a timely and professional manner
- Assist customers with order processing and provide accurate updates throughout the order lifecycle
- Take ownership of customer issues, questions, and account inquiries until fully resolved
- Coordinate customer account issue resolution proactively and efficiently
- Maintain accurate, well-organized, updated, and accessible customer records
- Partner with sales, engineering, quality, manufacturing, warehouse, and other internal teams to support a positive buying experience
- Prepare shipments and obtain shipping quotes as needed
- Participate in special projects and complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of customer service or inside sales experience in a similar industry preferred
- Inside sales experience and a customer-focused mindset
- Excellent customer service and people skills, including active listening, verbal communication, empathy, conflict resolution, and problem solving
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage customer needs through closure
- Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of different units of measure and conversions
- Solid basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel
- SAP experience is a plus
- Spanish or German language skills are a plus
- Self-motivated with the ability to establish and maintain appropriate customer relationships
Work Environment:
- Professional office and customer service environment with occasional exposure to warehouse areas
- May work near moving mechanical parts when taking paperwork to and from the warehouse office

The base pay rate for this position is $18.00 – $23.00 per hour depend on experience, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
