An established financial institution in Lincoln is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations and lead a small, highly tenured accounting team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence in a highly regulated environment.

Your Role
- Oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting activities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable financial regulatory requirements
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of experienced accounting professionals
- Manage key reporting responsibilities within a highly regulated financial environment
- Partner with leadership to support financial strategy and operational decisions
Your Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reporting
- Experience with FFIEC Call Reports and/or UBPR strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Banking accounting experience preferred; public accounting auditors with bank clients will also be considered
