Our client is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to support a high-volume collections and accounts management team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while managing delinquent accounts, processing payment arrangements, maintaining accurate case records, and responding to inquiries from the public. Responsibilities:
• Manage a high-volume caseload by responding to customer phone calls, emails, correspondence, and in-person inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Review delinquent accounts, research customer information, prepare demand letters, establish payment arrangements, and maintain accurate records within the case management system.
• Analyze tax accounts, litigation documents, and account information to support collection efforts and generate reports as needed.
• Perform administrative duties including updating customer files, meeting collection deadlines, participating in team meetings, and supporting departmental initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with customers and internal team members while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and high customer satisfaction standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of customer service, collections, accounts receivable, or related administrative experience.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), with experience using case management or database systems

The base pay for this position is $20.00-$22.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the pay range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
