Job Description
A credit union is seeking to hire a Customer Service Representative. With your strong customer service and communication skills, you will profoundly impact the organization by assisting members and potential members with their financial transactions. Your role will include providing support for account information, processing wire requests, and offering guidance on products and services. Responsibilities
- Provides members with information and direction regarding their accounts and explains services and products when needed
- Maintains member account information on the computer system
- Acts as members’ advocate in offering products and services
- Works assigned reports to provide quality control
- Receives and processes wire requests
- Answers phones immediately and responds to correspondence within one working day
- Accurately and effectively troubleshoots or directs all calls
- Processes member transactions with minimal errors
- Adds to and maintains knowledge of all new products, services, policies, and procedures
- Provides informed and professional assistance to all members and associates
Qualifications and Requirements
- 6 months or more of related experience; Symitar preferred
- A high school diploma/GED is required
- Must be computer literate with excellent communication skills
- Able to use a 10-key calculator and type accurately and efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word and Excel

The base salary range for this position is $15.50/hr., excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
