Job Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support the organization's accounting operations by processing vendor invoices, payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and compliant accounts payable processing, reconciling vendor accounts, supporting audits, and collaborating with internal departments to resolve payment and purchasing issues. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong organizational skills, and is committed to accuracy, customer service, and meeting deadlines.
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support the organization's accounting operations by processing vendor invoices, payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and compliant accounts payable processing, reconciling vendor accounts, supporting audits, and collaborating with internal departments to resolve payment and purchasing issues. Responsibilities:
•Process vendor invoices, perform three-way matching, verify coding, and ensure proper approvals before payment.
•Manage vendor payments, reconcile vendor accounts, maintain vendor files, and respond to payment inquiries or discrepancies.
•Collaborate with Procurement, Inventory, and other departments to resolve purchase order, receiving, and invoice issues.
•Assist with audit preparation, 1099 reporting, fixed asset documentation, and maintain electronic contract records.
•Monitor invoice due dates, support cash flow management, and provide weekly reporting on outstanding invoices.

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), SharePoint, Google Sheets, and accounting software; NetSuite and Bill.com experience preferred.
•Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, customer service, and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.

The base pay range for this position is $22.00-$24.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
