Job Description
The accountant supports financial operations by ensuring accurate reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. This role maintains compliance with accounting standards and payroll regulations, assists with audits, and drives process improvements and special projects. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, payroll accounting experience, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial accounting and reporting, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, controls, and regulatory requirements; assist with audits and reporting.
- Oversee payroll accounting processes, verifying calculations, deductions, and compliance with laws and policies.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and other teams to maintain accurate payroll and employee data.
- Support special projects, acquisitions, integrations, and process improvements as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/CMA preferred.
- 3–7 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in payroll accounting.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems, and financial reporting software.
- Strong organizational, time management, and teamwork skills; manufacturing experience a plus.

The annual base salary for this position is $65000 – $80000 per year (excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
