Job Description
Seeking an experienced Production Lead to support 3rd shift manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on role will coordinate workflow and production priorities, support equipment setups and changeovers, train team members, and help maintain quality, safety, and organization across the production floor.
Seeking an experienced Production Lead to support 3rd shift manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on role will coordinate workflow and production priorities, support equipment setups and changeovers, train team members, and help maintain quality, safety, and organization across the production floor.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily production workflow, work order priorities, and machine management
- Support equipment setups and changeovers, including learning or assisting with injection molding machine setups and part measurement
- Ensure materials, pick lists, and work orders are ready and accurate for upcoming jobs
- Verify programs, revisions, fixturing, clamps, stops, and completed parts are correct to print and work order requirements
- Train and support new employees, operators, and set-up operators; document training and demonstrated abilities
- Maintain 5S standards, tool boards, check sheets, setup bins, and overall work area cleanliness and organization
- Verify daily machine checklists are completed and support continuous improvement efforts to reduce scrap, downtime, and changeover time
- Communicate production priorities effectively and support work-in-process flow across the shift
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Prior lead, supervisor, or team lead experience
- Prior experience using an ERP system
- Prior experience working night shift
- Ability to use measuring tools, follow production documentation, and support equipment setups and changeovers
- Strong communication, organization, training, and problem-solving skills

The base salary for this position is up to $26/hr. based on experience, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
