Job Description
An established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Material Handler – Shipping to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. In this role, you will operate material handling equipment, pull customer orders, and load shipments safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has forklift certification, previous forklift experience, and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy. This position offers a consistent first-shift schedule in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate walkie rider pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to pull orders and transport products throughout the shipping area.
- Load and unload pallets from trucks while ensuring shipments are handled safely and accurately.
- Use handheld computers and warehouse technology to track orders, shipments, and loading progress.
- Stage products for shipment and verify orders are prepared correctly and on time.
- Follow established safety procedures, support daily shipping goals, and assist in other warehouse areas as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current forklift certification required.
- Minimum of 6 months of forklift operating experience required.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or similar material handling equipment.
- Ability to read customer orders and accurately record information in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Willingness to work overtime as required and adjust responsibilities based on business needs.

The base pay range for this position is $41,600-$43,000 excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
