Job Description:
As an Auto Detailer, you will play an important role in preparing specialty trucks and vans for final inspection and delivery. This position involves cleaning, detailing, and maintaining the appearance of vehicles in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently while meeting production deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and detail the interior and exterior of specialty trucks and vans to meet company quality standards
- Wash, dry, polish, and remove dirt, dust, grease, and other debris from vehicle surfaces
- Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including seats, floors, windows, dashboards, and other components
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, cosmetic imperfections, and areas requiring additional attention
- Safely use cleaning chemicals, detailing equipment, hand tools, and pressure washers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following established production, safety, quality control, and 5S standards
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive detailing, vehicle cleaning, or a related manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to clean and detail vehicles thoroughly while maintaining high-quality standards
- Experience using automotive cleaning products, detailing tools, and equipment preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety
