Job Description
A well-established distribution operation is seeking a DC Special Shipping Associate to support daily shipping and warehouse activities. In this role, you will remove cases from the line, stack products on pallets according to batch requirements, manage shipping exceptions, and move completed pallets from the sorting area. You will also assist with loading and unloading trucks and operate warehouse equipment as needed. This position requires attention to detail, safe work practices, and the ability to remain active throughout the shift.
Responsibilities:
- Manually Lift, Remove and stack cases from the shipping line onto pallets according to batch requirements.
- Monitor shipping batches in the warehouse management system (WMS) and help manage shipping exceptions.
- Move completed pallets from the sorting area and assist with loading and unloading trucks using appropriate material-handling equipment.
- Operate equipment such as a pallet jack and walkie rider, and run the tape machine based on production volume.
- Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, maintain good housekeeping, and report safety concerns to a supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Experience with or ability to safely operate a walkie rider and pallet jack.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read and write basic English.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform the physical activities required for warehouse shipping work.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures.
- Reliable attendance and availability to work Saturdays or overtime when needed.

The base pay range for this position is $14.00 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
