Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to provide strategic tax planning, advanced technical review, and trusted advisory services for high net worth individuals and closely held businesses. This role combines complex tax expertise with client relationship management, mentoring, and leadership while partnering closely with wealth advisors to deliver comprehensive financial planning solutions. The ideal candidate enjoys building long term client relationships, solving complex tax challenges, and helping develop the next generation of tax professionals.
Responsibilities:
• Review complex individual and business tax returns while providing advanced tax planning and consulting services
• Serve as the primary advisor for key client relationships, delivering proactive tax strategies and exceptional client service
• Lead technical tax research, compliance, and representation involving federal, state, and local tax matters
• Coach, mentor, and develop tax professionals through technical guidance, work review, and ongoing professional development
• Support firm growth through client relationship expansion, process improvements, operational initiatives, and strategic planning
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required, with a Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred
• Eight or more years of progressive tax experience
• CPA or EA certification required
• Advanced expertise with individual and passthrough entity taxation, strategic tax planning, GAAP, and federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Proven experience managing client relationships, mentoring team members, reviewing complex tax returns, and providing strategic tax guidance

The base salary range for this position is $135,000 to $155,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and internal pay equity. Please note that hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
