Job Description
the leading U.S. manufacturer of prestressed concrete railroad ties, turnout ties, and crossing panels for freight and passenger railroads
Responsibilities
- Performed quality control inspections on precast concrete railroad ties throughout the manufacturing process.
- Conducted Laboratory and field testing of concrete, including slump, air content, temperature, and compressive strength test.
- Inspected raw materials, reinforcement, molds, and finished concrete ties for defects and dimensional accuracy.
- Collected, prepared and tested concrete samples to ensure compliance with ASTM, ACI, and company quality standards.
- Promote a safe work environment by following OSHA guidelines and company safety policies.
- Verified compliance with plant specifics, customer requirements, and safety regulations.
- Work closely with production supervisors and engineers to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
